James Peregrine Galbraith
Music Composer & Lyricist
James Peregrine Galbraith was born in Elderslie, a
small town in Scotland, birthplace of Braveheart's, Sir William Wallace.
Unknown to his brother, he borrowed his guitar and taught himself to play at an early age,
writing his first song at the age of fourteen, The Greener the Grass.
"Music seems to find
me and for this I do believe I am blessed in many ways. I tend to compose in
the evening and into the early hours of morning. My tools are classical guitar
and mouth organ, which I find complement one another soulfully."
Through endless dedication and commitment his work Galbraith has achieved recognition in
USA, UK and Australia in all fields from, TV, Radio, Film, Theatre, Solo
Artists and Bands.
"All personal
writing(s) and work to date over the past 35 years have created a wealth of
compositions on file that I wish to express to the world. My ongoing dream is
to source suitable artists and companies to sing, play and perform my unveiled
arrangements with the conviction that, there is someone out there that really
connects with each song," states James.
His latest composition is an Australian Christmas song (2014) and he is in the process of finalising a musical, Shooting Star, which he wrote and will don a producers hat. He is aiming for a local production then to take it global. "It is based on the concept of true love as it unfolds both physically and
mentally from initial thought to eternal love."
This peace loving troubadour enjoys living a quiet, private life within the serene and tranquil surroundings of Queensland, Australia, which gives him "inspiration and time to compose".
James has just returned from Sydney from a recording and song writing session collaborating with fellow performer Novakayn.

"My vision is clearly
defined in my work and represents a big part of me, my life experiences and
life as I see it unfolding before me. I feel a sense of elation when I listen
to my creations being projected by an Artist in a way that reflects the
Artist’s own personal interpretation."
